Job Opening: Web User Experience Engineer

Emerge Interactive (http://www.emergeinteractive.com ) is a full service, fast paced, growing Interactive Agency looking for an enthusiastic local Web User Experience Engineer to join our team. Our creative headquarter is located in the heart of Portland, OR and provides a great atmosphere that you are sure to enjoy. The Web User Experience Engineer assists with the integration of information design and project concepts, and translates visual designs, user experience flows and content into functional and engaging interfaces for client projects. We’re looking for someone with experience in interactive web development as well as a strong conceptual background. This person will work closely with project managers, technical lead, art directors, designers, engineers and other team members to achieve client objectives.

PCC’s award-winning marketing office seeks a skilled visual designer with at least two years of experience producing digital media — from creative concept, to story development and art direction, to interface design and community management.

Conceive, direct, and deliver digital experiences, working with an integrated marketing team at one of America’s leading community colleges. Integrate video, audio, podcasts, events coverage, social features, and more into concept-driven packages for distribution on college Web sites, as well as social media communities such as YouTube, Flickr, and FaceBook.
